Beef Ching Chang

Beef Ching Chang

This is another Christmas staple. The name is derived from the sound the knife makes on the cutting board when the beef is chopped into small pieces.

Because so many people visit Nan every Christmas, there usually would not be enough room for everyone to have their Christmas meal at the same time. Because of this, many guests would have drinks and snack on various dishes before the sit-down meal. This dish atop bread is perfect for nibbles with beer.
